“My worth cannot be changed,” is the empowering message of the Shine Program. Our Shine program and curriculum is used to establish and support self-esteem in young girls.

In Elementary Shine, young girls begin the process of learning about their intrinsic self-worth and the worth of other girls in a safe and welcoming environment. The fall semester focuses on individual self-worth, the spring semester focuses on friendship, and the summer semester focuses on leadership.

Throughout the program’s curriculum, girls complete journaling questions, guided group discussions, and creative projects that encourage their unique personality, interests, and talents to shine, while also learning how to encourage and support others girls too shine bright too.
