This program’s goal is to create community and connection among the children of our community through reading and discussion circles, crafts, games, and community service efforts. Students build resilience and connections with peers of different ages, while also learning the value of taking care of themselves, each other, their community, and the Earth!
This program is offered to students in grades K- 6. The Fall Semester focuses on “They Matter", teaching lessons on friendship, diversity, and teamwork. The Spring Semester focuses on “The Earth Matters,” teaching lessons on community service and environmental awareness. In the summer we have similar program called Connection Circles.
