This year, we weren’t focused on counting bags of trash (though a few were definitely filled), but instead on counting the laughs, smiles, and memories we shared. Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of these incredible families and volunteers! We are beyond grateful for our amazing community — always ready to rally together and embrace a little fun, rain or shine.
In addition to picking up litter, our volunteers planted 50 flowers with uplifting messages, which we were thrilled to gift to our local nursing home and retirement village. We captured lots of great memories, splashed around in the rain, got some fun temporary tattoos, enjoyed a lunch, and most importantly, made a difference for our Earth.
At the end of the day, that’s what truly matters!
