Thank you, Werner Lumber Ace Hardware
The Open Door Project is so pleased to introduce this year's Community Cares Partners. These are businesses, organizations, and individuals within our community who provide support to Open Door Project's Elementary School I Matter Program and value positive mental health services for our community's youth! Next up, Werner Lumber Ace Hardware.
Werner Lumber Ace Hardware has been in existence for over 125 years in Pine Grove. They changed their hardware affiliation eight years ago from Tru Value to Ace and acquired a second location in Cressona with their purchase of the former Scott Millwork company two years ago. Their goal is to continue to grow and provide their customers with outstanding service and superior pricing.
We asked Craig at Werner Lumber why he chose to partner with us, and he said, “Since we are a locally owned business, we are constantly contacted for donations and support from various organizations. It is a constant challenge to properly determine where such support is best utilized. One of the criteria we consider is how many people will be helped or affected. The Open Door Project has proven to be a fantastic addition to Pine Grove. They help so many of our youth which provides an unparalleled service for our community."
Craig has been a long term supporter of the Open Door Project and our various programs and community efforts, and we are so honored to have his support. Make sure to show Werner Lumber /Ace Hardware some love in the comments. They deserve it!
